Edilia, a retired architect, rents a small apartment, with a double bedroom, a private bathroom, with a shower, and a tiny living room that may be used or not. The furniture is basic but sufficient. Her house is in a non-thru street without any traffic. The main square „Calixto Garcia“ can be reached by foot within 10-15 minutes, or by using one from the huge number of „bici taxis“ (bicycle rikschas) for 10 cup, that are circulating in the streets constantly. Behind the house is a covered patio, surrounded by tropical bushes and trees. Edilia offers a rich breakfast, that may be enjoyed in the patio. Upon request, she prepares also local dishes. Edilia is a nice, friendly and helpful person. I stayed there several weeks and had a pleasant time.
